Amphibian Survey Techniques course - book now!

Essex Wildlife Trust has teamed up with the Freshwater Habitats Trust to offer a training course on native amphibians, as part of the PondNet national monitoring project. If you are interested in learning how to contribute to the project by surveying your local pond, this is an ideal way to start!

Join Essex Wildlife Trust's consultant ecologist Martin Pugh for an evening training session on Wednesday 10th May at Essex Wildlife Trust’s Abbotts Hall Farm, Maldon Road, Great Wigborough CO5 7RZ. After the training we would like volunteers to survey ponds of their choice and contribute data to the PondNet monitoring project. Data collected will be shared with the Essex Wildlife Trust Biological Records Centre and made available to our partner organisations.

To book a place or for more details please contact Peter Case, or on 07703 808520. This training has been made possible through the Heritage Lottery Funded People Ponds and Water project.
