New Guidelines for Accessing and Using Biodiversity Data published

The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) have published new guidelines for accessing and using biodiversity data.

The guidelines are aimed at anyone who is using biodiversity data to support the development planning process, including Local Authorities and Consultants. The guidance covers the protocol for accessing background data in relation to developments, including when and where it is appropriate to source and use biodiversity information.
